1. Who We Are

Francis Ong ("we," "us") operates the website at wdtwfo.netlify.app under the name Why Does This Website Feel Off?, and provides a free website review checklist and a paid, personalized written website review. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have about it. You can reach us at wdtwfo.reviews@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

The current Website is a static HTML build. Review purchasing is now processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider. The free checklist is a direct PDF download that does not collect your email address or require any personal information. Review intake happens by direct email after purchase, not through a form. We use Google Analytics 4 for basic site analytics and event tracking.

• Visiting the website now. When the site loads, the service used to host the static files, services used to deliver site assets, and Google Analytics 4 may receive basic technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and requested pages.
• Checklist download. The free checklist is a direct PDF download. When you click the download button, Google Analytics 4 records a checklist_download event so we can count downloads. We do not collect your email address or require any personal information to access it.
• Review purchasing. When you request a review, Stripe processes your payment and collects your name, email address, and payment information. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Review intake. After you purchase a review, Francis emails you directly (no third-party form provider) to collect your website URL, the pages you’d like reviewed, business details, and any website access information you choose to provide. Our Review Service Terms explain what site access information to send and what not to send.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 collects basic technical and usage information to help us understand use of the Website and count checklist-download events.

3. Why We Collect It and How We Use It

• To load and operate the current static Website.
• To understand basic Website use and count checklist downloads through Google Analytics 4.
• If the checklist or review features are activated, to deliver what you request.
• To process payment through Stripe when you purchase a review, and to keep basic records of what was purchased and when.
• If email collection is activated, to communicate with you about your checklist, review, or account, and to send marketing email where you have signed up. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. See Section 8.
• If the review service is activated, to improve how we explain and deliver it, using only anonymized or aggregated information, or a specific example with your separate permission (see our Testimonial and Case Study Release).

4. AI-Assisted Processing

AI tools may assist with organizing notes, analyzing findings, drafting language, or formatting parts of a review. Francis personally reviews and approves every finding, priority label, and recommendation before delivery. Do not submit sensitive or unnecessary personal information in your intake emails, screenshots, or messages.

5. Service Providers Who May Process Your Information

The current static site uses third-party services only to deliver the Website and its assets. Those services may process basic connection data when a page loads.

We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor for review purchases and Google Analytics 4 for basic site analytics and event tracking. Review intake is collected directly by email, with no third-party form provider involved. We may also use third-party providers for website hosting and email delivery; no final providers have been selected for those functions.

When a review is performed, AI tools may be used as described in Section 4 and the Review Service Terms.

We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only as needed to provide an activated feature, comply with the law, or where you have separately given permission, for example, a testimonial.

6. Retention and Deletion

The current static Website does not create checklist subscriber records. Review purchases create payment records through Stripe, and review intake happens by direct email as described in Section 2.

• Temporary website access credentials are deleted immediately after your review report is delivered.
• Intake emails, screenshots, and other working review materials are deleted 30 days after the follow-up period closes, except records we need to keep for payment, tax, dispute, or legal purposes.
• Payment and invoice records are kept as long as required for bookkeeping and tax purposes.
• If a marketing email list is activated later, those records will be kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. After that, your contact is suppressed rather than immediately erased, so we do not accidentally re-contact you.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold. Any future provider will maintain its own security practices, which we do not control. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

If we hold personal information about you through an activated feature, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it, or to unsubscribe from marketing email, by contacting wdtwfo.reviews@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records, such as payment or invoice information, may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons even after a deletion request.

This policy describes our actual practices and the choices available to you. It is not a representation of compliance with every state or international privacy law.

9. Children’s Privacy

This website and our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact wdtwfo.reviews@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the business or the tools we use change. The version posted at wdtwfo.netlify.app/privacy is the current one. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
